QualPass Benefits
QualPass can benefit both employers
and individuals alike in proving training and competency.
EMPLOYERS
The need to prove competency to
clients is an increasing requirement of pre-qualification
questionnaires, tenders, etc., and can be a time consuming
exercise, in collating the qualifications of all persons likely to
take part in a project.
QualPass will allow an employer to
host critical quality, health and safety, insurance, environmental
management, statutory inspection certificates, insurance
certificates, ISO accreditation certificates, etc. on their
profile. The renewal date for each document can be entered
during the uploading process, thereby creating a reminder, on the
document section dashboard, of any document approaching review or
renewal, or any document which has passed the review or renewal
date.
Uploaded documents should be in pdf
format to preserve their content. A feature of the document
section is the ability to select individual documents and email a
link to a client, auditor, enforcement officer - this link will
remain active for 7 days and will only allow the recipient access
to those documents, included on the email link.
This feature allows an employer to
demonstrate corporate competence and compliance, without incurring
photocopying and postage costs, which are usually associated with
providing evidence of corporate competence.
QualPass will allow an employer to
search and select the employees who will be participating in a
project, or have been involved in an accident investigated by the
enforcement authorities, etc. It will also allow limited access to
view each employee's QualPass profile, view uploaded pdf copies of
original certificates, awards, passports, etc. and therefore
provide evidence of training and development, together with
providing individual employee's competency and training
history.
Employees will be provided with an
individual credit card size passport identifying their highest
level of vocational qualification, together with if they choose, to
their highest level of academic qualification. The reverse of
their card will display up to 10 current qualifications
relating to their occupation and experience.
Employer's will be able to upload a
copy of their company logo for inclusion on the front of their
employee's QualPass ID card.
When an individual employee's
training is due to expire, for example their first aid at work
qualification, QualPass will email the employer's contact 3-months
in advance of the expiry date, so as to allow the employer to
organise requalification training.
During recruitment drives,
employers can search QualPass for individuals who have a private
membership of QualPass, and contact them via the QualPass website -
a private individual can then grant a potential employer 7 days
access to view their QualPass profile including the uploaded CV and
uploaded pdf copies of their qualifications.
INDIVIDUALS
Private individuals can either:
Register and create their own
profile directly on the QualPass website, with their proof of ID
and original certificates, awards, passports, etc. posted to
QualPass via registered post. Once your qualification(s) have
been verified and uploaded, QualPass will order your ID card and
return this to your postal address along with your original
qualifications.
Have their registration and
qualification verification and upload carried out by an authorised
QualPass Agent. The entry will be reviewed and verified by
QualPass before the ID card is ordered and forwarded to the postal
address, on your QualPass profile.
For individuals QualPass offers
many benefits:
Evidence of your academic and
vocational qualifications, held in one easily accessible, but
secure website, including an electronic copy of your CV and any
references uploaded, against your profile.
Your main occupation(s), plus your
main academic and/or vocational qualifications, listed on the
reverse of your credit card sized QualPass ID card.
If unemployed, individuals can
choose to be included in any searches conducted by employers
subscribing to QualPass and grant any prospective employer, 7 days
access to view their QualPass profile; their uploaded CV and
references; plus uploaded, QualPass verified, pdf copies of their
academic and vocational qualifications.
Receive reminder emails sent from
the QualPass website, 3-months before any time sensitive
qualifications are due to expire.
The ability to add, or remove
qualifications from your QualPass profile and order a new QualPass
ID card (for a small administration fee).
Receive a reminder email sent prior
to your QualPass profile expiring.
